“Beautiful pool, good location”
The hotel location is very good, just in front of the Patong Beach. We booked double bed room but when we checked in, they run out of the double bed room. Therefore, they joined 2 single beds to a double bed. It was acceptable but we did not that please. Beside that, the staff was helpful to guide us to Promthep Cape and the Big Buddha. The room decoration is nice, I like the bathroom that has the window to the bedroom. The pool is really nice. We take an early morning swimming, quite relaxing. There are some massage stream in the pool.

“Good hotel, good location.”
This hotel is located across the road from the beach in Patong Beach, Phuket. It's very clean and well appointed, the staff speak passable English but sometimes appear to get a bit overwhelmed when it gets busy. The pool area is great and we enjoyed some fun nights at the pool bar. One thing to be aware of is the hotel has live music playing at the front every night of the week until sometimes midnight and the rooms located at the front of the hotel catch this full blast. This isn't a problem if you're down with the crowd enjoying it but it's not great for an early night. My suggestion is to ask for a room overlooking the pool.
Aim to get breakfast included in the room prices as it's around $10 pp for the buffet and there's not much close by early in the morning.
Oh, and being in Patong Beach, watch out for the backpackers on scooters who'll approach you to offer you a great deal on (after much discourse) timeshare offers. They're pretty ferocious in their sales techniques.

“Great location, comfortable rooms and professional staff.”
We stayed at the Baan Laimai for five nights and loved every minute. We booked a pool view room which had a great traditional fit out, huge bed and decent TV even though we didn't watch it much. Some reviews have said the beds were quite hard, the bed was firm but not uncomfortable at all.
The breakfast offered by the hotel was beautiful, a lot of choice and yummy. Get in early though, we found that if you went toward the end of the session some of the food wasn't as fresh (like scrambled eggs).
We ended up eating dinner at the hotel restaurant three nights because it was so delicious. All the waiters were friendly and the live band was great. The best Thai food, and my partner is quite fussy with what he eats (doesnt like adventurous food) but loved the pasta and pizza options whilst I loved the Pad Thai, Satay Chicken and Red Curry.

After reading some of the reviews we were a bit nervous, turns out we had the best experience. The location is perfect. The staff were great, from the house cleaning to the reception staff! They try hard to please and we really appreciated it. We did experience noise at night with the live band downstairs, the music was good and not at an unbearable level. The pool is absolutely amazing but we found it a bit too cool, however the sea across the road was perfect. We booked two rooms, one for our teenagers and one for us. They were both spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Comes with our highest recommendation and we will definitely return.

“Good Holiday Hotel”
Stayed at Baan Laimai after disappointment with Scoopon voucher which did not eventuate at Baumanburi Resort who claimed our dates were not available. Yet still they were advertising for the same dates. Anyway, we were happy with our choice of hotel, very spacious hotel, friendly staff who did everything in their power to assist us. We were upgraded to a spacious room. A bit of construction with a gym being installed but during the day. The pool is massive and is built around the middle of the hotel. We will stay at Baan Laimai on all our future visits. Centrally located, just a walk unto the beach area.
